ABOUT

About
'Bag of Tricks' builds on the strengths and successes of two AHRC-funded Connected Communities Projects. These were Untold Stories of Volunteering (New Vic Borderlines) and Heritage and Stigma (University of Huddersfield). In 2013, the project partners came together to explore how the New Vic's innovative cultural animation techniques could be used to facilitate the impact of historical research upon wider society.
Over the course of the project we have created a documentary drama, which has been performed in schools and colleges. We have also created the 'Bag of Tricks' our ground-breaking workshop resource.
This project is supported by the
Arts and Humanities Research Council
The Arts and Humanities investigate the values and beliefs which underpin both who we are as individuals and how we undertake our responsibilities to our society and to humanity globally.
